Makanakaishe Charamba, a sophomore at Carson Newman representing Zimbabwe, swept the men's 100-meter dash and 200-meter titles in wind-aided marks of 10.02 and 20.19 seconds at the NCAA Division 2 Championships at Neta and Eddie DeRose Thunderbowl Stadium in Pueblo, Colo. Charamba also contributed to Carson Newman placing second in the 4x100-meter relay in 39.33 seconds, with West Texas A&M producing a Division 2 record 38.70.
